October fest Menu @ HRC

Hard Rock Cafe introduced a new limited time menu in lieu of October Fest, which will be available till the 8th of November.

I tried a burger from the select menu as there were only a couple of veg options.

I had the LA Confidential Burger, it was a double patty burger with a very nice crusted exterior.

The texture of the patty really helped to bring the flavors together making this very good.

I also tried a small portion of the corn fritters and hummus platter from the regular menu.

I also tried a Pomegranate Margarita which I liked coz it wasn’t overly sweet whereas the second drink I tried, very berry, was a little too sweet for my liking.

The desserts were also awesome, I tried the redvelvet cake served along side ice cream and dessert bites caramel chocolate cheesecake.

Do try and get a taste from this menu before its too late :)!

Double Roti, Chennai

image

Went to Double Roti for the first time with my gal pals and haven’t been able to stop from going back. It’s amazing how such a small place is always packed!!

Took my family there recently as I could not think of any other place. We ordered the masala lemonade to start with

I like the quirky ambience and the fact that you can see how things are being made, no nose diggers here 🙂

We got the corn and spinach panini, the mex veg burger and a chicken pita sandwich (don’t remember what it’s name was). There are no pics of the food as everyone was hungry and didn’t want to wait till I took pics 😦

The panini and pita sandwich were good but the Mexican burger stole the show!! The crispness of the patty drove the flavor to new heights. The sauces along with the crisp lettuce just melted in the mouth giving a very surreal experience!!

Some might say its pricy, but the portions are large. I’m yet to finish a whole sandwich or burger by myself. Waiting for the maggi ban to lift  so can try out those delicacies they offer too.

Pull up a chair. Take a taste. Come join us. Life is so endlessly delicious.
